I agree completely. I don't mind the guy. At least after a few weeks when it all dies down we won't see/hear him as much. It's better than him being in a commentators role, you can't help but hear him then.

Well i agree with that. Summer slam shaping up to be good wont be able to watch im on holiday.

I don't agree. Summerslam is shaping up to be a terrible PPV.

It's shaping up to be average in WWE PPV standards, but terrible when you think it's the second biggest PPV of the year, after only WM. You'd think they'd step it up and put on a really good show but no.

The only match I'm interested in is Taker vs. Edge HIAC, but even still recently HIAC has been pretty boring.

John Cena vs. Batista won't be as great as people think.

HHH vs. Khali-why?

CM Punk vs. JBL-this could be ok, but it'll just end up with CM Punk pulling through by some fluke.

MVP vs. Jeff Hardy-this could actually be a good match. Both wrestlers are skilled and exciting.

Winner takes all tag match-BORING. Although, Santino is entertaining, I have to admit, but not for wrestling just comedy wise.

Shawn Michaels announcement-this could be the most exciting bit of the night :p

HHH vs. Khali-why?

Exactly what I was thinking lol. They pit the worst wrestler in the company who hasn't even wrestled for a few weeks against HHH. He's there to fill the numbers.

It's not like they're short of talent either. They could have put Big Show or Umaga in that position and it would have made a much better match. Hell, they could have even given an Upper-Mid Carder like Jeff Hardy or MVP a title shot, to see if they're true main event material.
I'd rather see Doink The Clown vs. Triple H for the WWE Title in oppose to Khali, FFS :p

The only way he got the shot was because hes big and if he lost in the battle royal everyone would think hes even worse than they do now.

Khali is just there to make HHH look good, I'd expect the winner of the 'Taker/Edge match to be in the title picture after SS, so Khali is only there to give HHH someone to beat and look good against.

I'd imagine it'll be HHH vs. Taker programme afterwards, ending in Taker beating HHH for the title probably at around Survivor Series time. Then it'll be Taker vs. Umaga programme, which has been in the works for many months now, and then they'll most likely go at it around Rumble time, I'd imagine. Then, I think Taker will lose it to somebody so he's titleless going into Mania where he'll win it back again.

Either that, or he'll keep it until then and retain. But WWE do like to have him win it at Mania, making the bigger spectacle for all to see.

The latest WWE Releases, dissapointed to see Shannon go, but yeah that's it.

That's not it, by any means. WWE are having a clearout, it's release season.
More are expected in the next few days.

On the danger list:
Charlie Haas
Snitsky
Matt Striker
Hardcore Holly
Highlanders
Jimmy Wang Yang
Armando Estrada
Mike Knox

Sadly, Funaki is not on the list, but wait for it...

They're thinking of dropping some names from the roster, that are used mainly for training younger stars (but not releasing them officially). This would include:
Val Venis (RAW)
Funaki (Smackdown)
Stevie Richards (ECW)

From the DANGER LIST, I don't think they'll release Matt Striker. With the current situation with Mick Foley, if that goes tits up, they'll draft Tazz into Smackdown and put Striker on ECW with Grisham. Effectively, he's a back up color commentator.

I could easily see the rest going. This is all because of the youth movement within WWE at the minute. They're freeing up all these places to allow new guys to come in. If you've noticed all the pushes CM Punk, Cody & DiBiase, Kofi etc-that's the youth movement. Vince tried to do something to improve ratings and at the minute its worked. If they slip again, expect him to go back to his old ways :noway

They need a challenge. Plain and Simple, they way TNA is being booked atm, TNA won't be the company to do it.

I think it's good, all the names listed are going a bit stale and not really going to push the main event in the future, so why not try some younger guys. Good policy for me.

I hope to god he does. I can't stand the guy, he does nothing for me.

Interesting stuff regarding Rey and Kane. Wonder what's going on there.
