This will no doubt give ECW a boost, but what a way to waste the impact of such a high profile return by relegating a really over guy to the "C Brand" show, I mean...the fact that in the last year or so the ECW title has been held by Mark Henry and Chavo Guerrero shows how little ECW really means to Vince, and putting Christian on there shows a total lack of faith in his general ability...why oh why could they not put him on SD!...

You could say it's an awful decision but I don't think it's that bad. Put it this way, ECW is certainly hotting up from the diar state it was in just a couple of months ago. You've got a load of really talented youngsters now, who're showing whether they're worthy of stepping up, and this is much better than simply having a brand of crap like it used to be. You've got the likes of Jack Swagger, John Morrison, Ricky Ortiz and Tyson Kidd, Evan Bourne etc., and then some of the talent like Christian will simply draw in viewers each week. A clever decision, IMO.

Christian at ECW is nothing compared with the mess TNA are making atm. The last ppv last Sunday was awful. Then we get news that Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave and more importantly Petey Williams have been released! Not too bothered about Hoyt and Rave, but Peteys far too awesome to fire. Just further proof that Jarrett, Russo and the rest of the writing team are intent on ruining Tna. TNA's nothing compared with what it was a year or two ago. WWE have won the war with ease!

ECW has good wrestling content, no doubt about that, but its definitely seen as the "C Brand" amongst fans and the wrestlers themselves. Sure it certainly is bringing new talent through and seeing if they can step up, but for an established guy like Christian to be slapped back in there rather than one of the other brands seems like a waste of time, I appreciate that they may feel Christian needs to re-introduce himself to newer fans etc... But a month or two before he left the company he was at the top of the card feuding with John Cena, to come down to this is a bit of an anti-climax for me, and also looks like we won't get to see the Edge v Christian dream match which is really dissapointing.

OMG...Edge eliminated after 2 minutes of the Elimination Chamber. He was first in, and first out. A guaranteed new champion now.

Review

Overall, this was a good PPV, in my opinion. WWE should feel rightfully proud of their achievements here. I believe opening with the Elimination Chamber was the right thing to do, rather than having them both at the end, and it really set up the show nicely. The early exit of Edge was very unexpected, and got me excited as to who would become the new Champ. That would turn out to be Triple H, probably the right result, although I would have liked to have seen Undertaker get the belt. The first match was a very solid match, and I enjoyed it overall. The only criticism I could have was that it was maybe a bit too long. Next was the No Holds Barred encounter, and for me, this was the highlight of the show. The pair really went out all guns blazing here and they really impressed me. I especially liked the use of Rhodes and DiBiase in the match, and the ending was only fitting as it didn't bury Shane either. Then we went on to the ECW Title match. A straightforward match, over and done with pretty sharp, but that's all you can expect really. If I could have asked for anything more, it would have been interference from Christian, but I can't complain too much about the match, overall. Onto JBL vs. HBK next, and this was another solid match. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, both wrestlers worked very well together as usual, and the timing was perfectly executed. No complaints here, and nice to see the right result. Finally, the MAIN EVENT was the Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Title. I really liked the start where Edge attacked Kofi, and entered the match himself, as it added to the segment where he was going nuts backstage about getting eliminated. The match was entertaining to watch, didn't last overly long and it was a real shock to see Cena eliminated. I thoroughly expected him to retain. Overall, a PPV that entertained me and kept me interested and that's all I can ask. Some good solid matches, nice segments, and nothing too boring. Some of these angles have really put a different light on WM now, especially with Edge winning the World Heavyweight Title, as he was expected to fight Triple H at WM25. Well, we'll soon see what's happening for WM, and what's happening with the Title, whether Edge will switch brands or what. Some interesting times ahead, it seems...

That is a great news. I think the Undertaker or Big Show might win it.
