Watching NWO now and am impressed with Orton vs McMahon. The RKO at the end really got a pop and looked very good. Was actually a better match than any on the last TNA PPV

Orton's tattoo's ftw as well, they're incredibly cool.

Bit of a mixed bag of a PPV imo, not really happy to see Edge drop the WWE title (certainly not to HHH anyway), but quite pleased to see him pick up the World Title, though that said, it was so obvious he was going to win as soon as it was made clear that he would be in the match. Similarly, the fact that he has had 8 world titles in the last 3 years is a bit rubbish in my opinion, though he deserved to hold the gold on all the occasions that he has, his reigns should have been longer, rather than the constant winning/losing of it. Really don't like how the world titles have been changing hands on nearly a monthly basis recently, kind of devalues them I feel....

However, quite interested to see how the ME at WM will look now, I thought Edge vs HHH was now a shoo in, but now it looks very unlikely, unless they go for some sort of title unification match, but that doesnt look likely...Unless we get Orton v Austin I can only assume that it will be Orton v HHH, and possibly Edge v Matt v Jeff...but most likely he will defend against Cena I suppose....still, interesting nonetheless.

I agree Sledger, and it seems a bit pointless as there's no doubt one of them will change once again at Wrestlemania. If not, it'll be a pretty boring WM, I think.

I would assume so, RoboRocks. Although, saying that, I haven't seen much of a feud going on between them, so I don't know.

It was announced on last night's RAW, that on next week's RAW, Shawn Michaels will face JBL and the winner of that match will go on to face Undertaker at WM25.

No Way Out was far better than what I thought it was going to be.

Raw is great too.

Yes exactly, one of them is bound to drop the title, because it's pretty much an unwritten rule that there will be at least one new world champion at wrestlemania, whilst such a possibility of it not happening is hardly out of the question, I agree that this would make for a fairly boring show.

As per the events of RAW last night it looks like Orton will be facing HHH, which could actually turn out quite well in a Legacy v McMahons type feud...

Looks like HBK vs Undertaker will be a match for WM then (as I predicted - go me), and will very much look forward to this, much more so than either of the world title matches, whatever they may turn out to be.

I imagine the Hardy v Hardy angle is still on as well, not been given much TV coverage since the Royal Rumble but there is no way such a massive heel turn is going to be left to go stale, I imagine they will start pushing this feud on Smackdown this week, maybe working it into a title match with Edge somehow....though one has to wonder where John Cena fits into all this.

:( I miss those times when I used to watch WWE, I've been so much out of touch I don't know if I can get back in this. :(

When was the last time you watched it, if it was anytime between 2005-2007 then I'd reccomend it, as the quality has increased.

Also, to add spice to things, there's been a WWE draft announced for 8 days after WM25, which makes it all the more exciting.

Here are the matches I can see happening at WM:

Randy Orton vs. HHH
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
John Cena vs. Edge
Money In The Bank Ladder Match (probably won by John Morrison, who'll then move in the draft and win a championship)
Jack Swagger vs. Christian
Chris Jericho vs. a legend
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

Not really sure about the others yet, and I'm not certain about John Cena vs. Edge either...

RAW was great last night. Great Edge promo, Jericho got massive heat for making Piper crawl and RKO owned the McMahon family. Really top draw show.

In response to Simon, I agree with your card, apart from MITB. Personally, I think MVP will win it. However, I may be bias, because I mark for him. :D

Here's how I see the draft turning out. This includes the supplementary draft...

HHH to Raw
Evan Bourne to Raw
The Miz to Raw
John Morrison to Raw
DH Smith to Raw
Big Show to Raw
Michelle McCool to Raw

Chris Jericho to Smackdown
Santino Marello Smackdown
Manu to Smackdown
Charlie Haas to Smackdown
Christian to Smackdown
Dolph Ziggler to Smackdown
Beth Phoenix to Smackdown

Kizarny to ECW
Goldust to ECW
Sim Snuka to ECW
Festus to ECW
Curt Hawkins to ECW
Zack Ryder to ECW
Kung Fu Naki to ECW
The Great Khali to ECW

Oh, of course. Sorry, I forgot about him totally. Where has he been? I, too, am a big MVP fan, and would love to see him win it and go on to Main Event status, hopefully. I am also a big fan of John Morrison and Mr Kennedy, two other guys I wouldn't mind seeing win. Those three are certain to be Main Eventers some day.

Wow, ECW got screwed in your draft. Funaki? Khali? :D

Personally, I would like to see Rey Rey on ECW.

Lol, yeh, you've really screwed ECW over there. Taking Christian, Miz and Morisson, and then sticking them with some absolute tripe. I'm with JJ, I can see Rey joining ECW, possibly Kane as well. He's just a jobber on Raw now, so might as well get him some exposure on ECW and abit of a Main Event run.

Yeh, but that's the way it goes. ECW brings in new talent, they then get put on RAW or Smackdown as soon as they're good enough. In the drafts, all the crap gets put on ECW as a way of giving them a last chance. To be honest, most of the stuff I've put on ECW will be released within a few months.

WWE News

According to a well-placed source in WWE, the following matches are being talked about for WrestleMania 25. As always during WrestleMania season, things can change at the drop of a dime, but these are the current plans:

- Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena

- Triple H vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship Match)

- Edge vs. Big Show (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match)

- Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker

- Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke

- Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

Regarding the possibility of Hogan vs. Cena at WrestleMania, it has not yet been confirmed, but feelers have been sent Hogan's way about doing the match.

As of right now, the only matches set in stone for WrestleMania 25 are Triple H vs. Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy, and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker.

Mickie Rourke is telling people that he won't be attending WrestleMania 25, but WWE is expecting him to change his mind after the Academy Awards on Sunday. If Rourke still doesn't bite, WWE has laid out a possible backup plan where Chris Jericho will beat down a number of legends week after week on RAW, building up to a big match with Hogan at WM 25.

If Rourke did come through to face Jericho, that would free up Hogan to then wrestle someone like John Cena. Cena is currently involved in a program with Edge which COULD lead them right into WrestleMania. It all really depends on Rourke and what he chooses to do AFTER Sunday's Oscars. He doesn't want to risk not getting an Oscar due to taking part in a WWE angle. Rourke's concerns are legitimate, as the entertainment industry still has a very negative view on wrestling.

Also, expect the annual tradition of Money in the Bank matches at WrestleMania to continue this year.

I would hate to see Jericho v Hogan, I would rather see Cena v Hogan, but that said, Hogan will insist on beating whoever he faces...so meh....will certainly be a huge draw...but it doesnt really fill me with inspiration...

HHH/Orton though, loved the close of RAW this week, loving the breaking kayfabe type angle thing going on...
