1) Yorkshire started very strongly indeed hitting the Norths bowler all around the stadium. Barrow and Ram really looked in touch and played some reverse sweeps as well...they are really enjoying themselve out there...yorkshire quickly got 50 runs without a loss...

2) Barrow and Ram were looking unbeatable and Barrow snatched himself a well worked out 50 but straight after his 50 F'dlander bowled a beautiful out-swinger whcih took the outside egde of Barrows bat and went safely into the waiting second slips hand and Norths had finally go the breakthrough they needed...Yorkshire 86-1...

3) After that Davies, the skipper, came on the pitch and acted like a skipper by playing some beautiful shots as soon as he came on...Meanwhile Ram on the other side also got to his 50 and Yorkshire were really looking in command here...Yorkshire 160-1...

4) Davies also got his 50 a while after Rams and was playing superbly but than F'dlander was brought back into the attack and struck immidiatley...he got Ram out LBW for 64 which didn't look very convincing but the umpire rose his finger (surprisingly) and yorkshire were still pretty much in command with 166-2...next batsman in...DEASEY...

5) Just a couple of minutes after Rams wicket, Deasey got out for only 4 from a superb yorker by Wigley...can Norths get back into this game???Yorkshire 178-3 now...

6) After Deaseys wicket, Wilson and Davies got into a fantastic partnership and were playing beautifully all around the wicket and Davies got his 100 as well...they quickly got Yorkshire over 200...than 250...than...well just about reached 300 when Pansear struck for Norths and took the vital wicket of Wilson who departed for 47 and contributed in a partnership worth 121...still Yorkshire pretty much in command...

So Day 2 is over here in Headinly and Yorkshire have the upper hand but are still 59 runs short of Norths 359 but Davies is still there on 109 + there is still W L., Bilal and Legend to come...What will happen next in this fantastic game of Bat and Ball???

1) Well Yorkshire started day 3 very strongly and didn't lose a sincle wicket in session 1 and also had overtook Norths 359...Davies was still going strongly with 178* and W L. was also with him on around about 20...Yorkshire looks in a very strong position...Yorks 394-4...

2) The session 2 was good as well for Yorkshire as they didn't lose a wicket in that session neither...Davies had completed an amazing double ton from the very first match of the season and W L. also supporting him with 51*...but Davies has strangley decided to declare and they are only 99 runs ahead but they can still win this match...Yorks 464-4 dec...

3) Norths started the quest to set a reasonable target very stongly but were playing some very risky shots...Norths 80-0...

4) Yorkshire finally got the breakthrough they needed from the very last ball of Day 3 with Legend bowling White out for 53 runs and Norths were now 92-1 at the end of day 3...

5) Norths started Day 4 very strongly but Yorks struck back with Tahir taking two very quick wickets by getting Shafayat caught behind for 43 and Crook LBW for 31...Norths now 142-3 and about 50 runs ahead...

6) Ahemd struck at the start of session 2 to put Norths at 212-4 but they battled back to make 264-4 and than declared at the end of session 2 of day 4 about 170 runs ahead and this was looking destined for a draw...

7) SCORECARDS FOR NORTHS SECOND INNINGS

Yorks started session 3 strongly but 170 in last session was almost an impossible thing to do and to add to that Yorks lost the wicket of Ram and Borrow was dropped but it ended as an unexpected draw as Yorkshire finished at 28-1...But Yorks earn 10 points from that draw and are 4th in the County Table after 1 match...
