Kenya Completed Innings.

Kenya produced a very good batting performance which should put them in with a chance to take the first match. After being in a bit of trouble at 86/3, Tikolo played brilliantly supported by the bottom order to guide Kenya to 267/8.Price bolwed the best, even though expensive took 3 wickets.Figures of 3-0-28-3.

That is a good batting performance from the Kenyans. 267 is a very respectable score, and the Zimbabwean side in this match is a good one, so that makes this an even better achievement.

Like fishman said, the innings was very well paced.

Looking forward to the runchase.

Zimbabwe Innings after 25 Overs

The Zimbabweans innings got off to a horrendous start, Ebrahim was the first to fall, trying to push a ball through the legside, was trapped plumb in front.12/1. Next to go was Marillier who was also trapped in front. Replays showed the ball to have a great angle down the legside. 13/2. Friend didn't last long, run out for 4.Next to depart was Taibu who failed to score.23/3. bowled by a peach of a delivery ripping out off stump.23/4.Then entered Masakadza who along with Flower, set on rebuilding the innings. They both scored slowly to start, and played very timidly. Masakadza looked in brilliant form and Flower as usual anchored the innings. Their partnership at the 25th over was 114. They have taken the innings to 137/4. Masakadza on 60 and Flower 48. Should be a very interesting chase. Zimbabwe can not afford to lose anymore wickets, they shouldnt as they are up to the required runrate. They still require 131 runs off 150 balls(5.24 an over.)
Stay tuned.

Screenshots
1.Marillier is ruled LBW, ball looks to have done too much-missing legstump.Bad shot anyway
2.Taibu is clean ripped off his 2nd ball.
3.Masakadza slog sweeps for 4, on his way to 60.

The Kenyans have bowled pretty well, but I guess the Zimbabweans are gonna win this one. It'll be an exciting last 25 overs, i am sure.

Matsikenyeri and Flower have given Zimbabwe a great chance in winningt he first ODI.Their 166 run partnership came to an end with Flower holing out in the deep for 65.Streak and Matsikenyeri put on 36 before Streak was dismissed bya brilliant catch at deep square leg.Matsikenyeri made a brilliant hundred, smashing a four through point to bring up his ton off 103 balls. Some brilliant bowling from Odumbe resulted in Matskineyri being dismissed soon after, trapped in front. He has given Kenya a slight chance as Blignaut was caught ou the next over. With ten overs to go and Zimbabwe only needing 17 runs to win, the only obstacle for the Southern africans is wickets in hand. should be close. Stay tuned..

Zimbabwe vs Kenya 2nd ODI at Harare

Welcome to the second match of the series, Zimbabwe are leadin the series 1-0. The overnight showers has soaked the outfield and the pitch is damp.Start of play has been delayed for an hour as the groundstaff drain the outfield. No overs should be lost and we should see a full game of cricket. The showers have cleared and we have a beautiful day for cricket. Hot and Sunny.
Toss is being undertaken.Zimbabwe have won the toss and elected to bat first. A surprising decision with the track having something in it for the bowlers.First innings should start soon. Stay tuned.

2nd ODI.Zimbabwe's first 15 overs
The first 15 overs for Zimbabwe have seen some very tough bating conditions, but the first dismassal had nothin to do with the pitch.Mariller pushed a single into the covers, looking to get off the mark only to be sent on his way by some brilliant fielding by the Kenyans.Friend was next to go as the bounce and movement on this very damp pitch deceived him, the slowness in the deck deceived him and he skied a catch.7/2. Flower and Ebrahim played with great caution to add 43 runs before Flower was also deceived and played his shot too early being caught by square leg.50/3.Taibu didn't last long and his dismallsal was typical of the pitch. He played back to a short spinner from Obuya. The ball skidded on hardly bouncing at all and hit the base of middle stump. Very dismal card for the Zimbabweans. They have a long way to go.Stay Tuned.

2. This dismissal shows the pure nature of the track, as Taibu is bowled playing back.
