They just try too hard to get tailenders out. It's not like a lot of good balls are getting hit around, just not balls you'd expect to go for 4.

Get Rauf off too then.

Much better 50 by Swann, not as streaky as Broad's one and still no chance given.

ENGLAND SURVIVE TILL LUNCH!!!

And get 163 runs in 24 overs! Broad and Swann to open for ODIs!!

So then, I guess that was England's session huh? :D Even if England do lose this match, Broad and Swann have given them some momentum.

Don't know now if Broad should stay or go. Took 6 wickets and hit a fifty. Sure it was a lost cause, but how do you drop a man after a performance like that?

Isn't it over yet? What does it say about numbers 3 and 4 when numbers 8 and 9 have probably scored 3 or 4 times as many runs this series?

You drop him because at present he's not a match winning bowler, and that's what we need at the Oval.

We need to pick the 11 best players in England for the Oval. It won't happen, but give the likes of Ramprakash and Trescothick one last hurrah. I'd feel a lot safer with those two at the top order than Bopara and Bell.
