I'm not sure why Stokes seems to be overrated in T20. He really is not that valuable (apart from appearing on paper to be the perfect all-rounder) at all. The one bloke RR miss is Archer. Him bowling those four economical overs means you need to take risks against the others and potentially gift them wickets.

I also don't get why Tyagi isn't in the team and why they've gone back to Gopal after Unadkat showed promise in a different role.

You gotta feel sad for RR. This is a pounding, and it will take a lot more than Sanga asking them "to have fun" for things to improve for them.

Why did they let Steve Smith go? He was not that bad for them last season. If they didn't want his captaincy, could've kept him and then given captaincy to Sanju.

RCB set to challenge CSK on the NRR. I am sure coming Sunday's clash between them is going to be a cracker. Even though its a Sunday and its at 6AM for me, I will be getting up for this clash. So interesting that CSK and RCB both went all out on Maxwell and when CSK couldn't get him, they got Moeen Ali and now both Maxwell and Moeen are turning out to be star performers for the respective teams

I see why it is symbolic and important for a developing talent and I am happy for Padikkal, but I'm not really a fan of this "slow down so that someone else can get that century" tactic. This is the sort of game you can get away with but this thinking of ours needs to change with regards to achievements being all that matter.

On the other hand, they need to retain Padikkal at all costs in the next IPL auction. Could be the next generational talent for this lot!
