Australia had the chance to bowl India out for 150 odd; the runs from there on were pretty much bonus and whatever the case, once the total got to 200, they had to bat most of the innings to win and it was no longer going to be easy.
I think Shaun Tait's omission, like Tendulkar and Zaheer, shows that he'd be an instant pick in a real game and that would be much more comforting at the death than David Hussey. They could even have used Watson, which is slightly disappointing in retrospect. Although Lee, Tait and Johnson look like the main trio, it's still tough to say where each bowler sits in the pecking order, particularly with respect to Krejza. It's one thing to have a specialist spinner for various reasons, but in Krejza's case, it may often be a luxury at the expense of a significantly better bowler. Australia may simply play him and then review performances before picking the team for the quarter finals.
Meanwhile, on their performance, you'd think India will pick all three spinners and add Zaheer Khan. It must be unlikely, but Dhoni made no effort to have a shoot out between Sreesanth and Munaf Patel. Two spinners is a good bet, but they must have shot themselves in the foot a bit by not exploring their pace options further.
