Great, so we just got to wait for the results of India vs Australia to confirm which team plays who in the Semi's, India need to win just one of the two games to top the group which looks highley probable.

So the Semi's will (most probably):

Pakistan VS England

India VS New Zealand

(lol wouldnt it be ironic, if Pak and Ind were to get in the final of our first T20 tourney, just as Pak and Ind got in the finals of the first T20 Tourney in reality)

its going to be a very difficult semi final considering the only guy I have a -ve win loss record at AC09 is Thandamilk though considering the form ur in storming through your group winning 5 games on a trot not too sure if it would have been any easier the other way round too

As for going on without Lilas playing his next two games, I think with the spirit of the tourney he should play his games first before we proceed.

lol am sure it would be an intresting game, I would admit thus far you have the better of me in our games, but then this is a totally different ball game with only 1 fast bowler. Plus we havent played for ages.

Well lol no point getting too much into a Pak VS Ind Final, as am sure Lonewolf is going to be a tough game, Iv never played him before so not too sure what to expect. Which makes the game even more exciting.

Rizzy I agree the past doesnt counts for much as we did play under different rules and a very long time ago ...considering your current form I think your the favorite for the cup however I believe we have 4 good evenly matched players here and anyone can win it... I also agree regarding completion of games..I guess we can wait till Friday else the games can be counted as a tie.

So semi finals coming up this weekend and announcement of team awards for group stages of the tourney. Awards up for grabs

2. Best Batting Average
3. Highest score by a team
4. Most Wickets Taken
5. Best Bowling Average

It's difficult to say who the favourite is as we have had different opponents, so yeh deffo anyone could win this. Have to admit its been a great tourney so far, despite the two teams that pulled out. Top Job Lilas! :hpraise

after this tourney i really suggest a quick 5 over tourney
it wud be fun as well as a good change
remember t20 is fun for 50 over playin countries
and for us who already play t20 most 5 overs wud be great fun and will finish fast

Sounds like a great idea lonewolf mate. Im in for that, and Im also up for some test games to get practice on the batting some more without the run rate pressure as advised by Lilas. Match Report: Some great bowling by Australia had India down and out at 65/5 after 7 overs. A brilliant century by Tendulkar with some support from Pathan and Gambhir helped India get back in the game. Tendulkar was especially severe on the Krejza and Hopes with India picking up 150 runs un the last 5 overs.
Australia game out all guns blazing hitting some wonderful shots however taking too many risks there batsmen let to wickets at regular intervals. The Indian spinners were very impressive picking up 4/19 of their 3 overs

eflindor bowled very well in the first 15 overs just got lucky in the last 5 with everything hitting the sweet spot.. great effort Eflindor nonetheless...

I ll try getting my return game with Eflindor tomorrow else play my semi final with Thandamilk on Friday..

Yeh I batted poorly, Just coudnt time the bowl, was just the slightest of lag that had me in the slightest of confusion weather to go at the bowl or play late, but very well bowled never the less.

As for your game against Thanda, your post hints that he has been getting the better of you recently, intresting.
