lonewolf I meant two more people against it coz that would mean 4 people against it and a clear majority.. I have been part of a few tournaments and quite often have seen things like these erupting mid tournament where players raise objections half way through.. so just to be safe I am basing all rules on majority

Though I am quite confident by tomorrow morning 2 more votes for being against advance shots would be received.

I hope this tourney isn't DOA. Lilas, suggest we start things off rather than advancing start dates in the hope of building consensus on everything. As requested by other posters, please post the rules one last time.

Thandamilk thank you for posting fixtures..I had already edited the rules earlier today in the first post ..I have still not received confirmation from akill85/ WI on participation on the tournament I hope he confirms on forum before we reach SF stage.. irrespective we start tourney today.. request all participants to update scores on forum as soon as a game is completed.. good luck to all

Akill85 has confirmed participation on PM a few weeks ago it was just that he is new to the forum therefore was having trouble finding the thread. He should be posting a message here very soon.
I am glad coz of the tournament planetcricket has 3 new members- psymax, eflindor and akill85.

Since akill had confirmed participation on PM before I feel he should have the right to choose the team first. In case he does choose WI Hmarka you would have to chose one of the weaker teams- BAN/ZIM/IRE. Hope that is ok with you though considering how good you are at the game I doubt that would be a problem. Please confirm your team and location you play from.

Since we are 9 players we will have one group with 5 players and one with 4 players.

kellerwwfc- if you know other players who are interested please do invite them we can offcourse expand the tournament from 9 to 11-12 players preferably an even number. However they would need to join in within a day or two.

I look forward to getting the first set of matches today.
