It is unfortunate that you are in a group where mostly everyone is from India though with the last minute addition it was the best I could manage. You are among the best I have played I am still quite confident even with the lag and Bangladesh you could end up toping the group. I ll be on tomorrow around 1300 GMT hope to get a game with lonewolf, gougie or eflindor then...

I have updated points table on first post though the table looks quite shabby let me know if anyone can help me build a better table.

Yeah no problems mate im not complaining, im just expecting it to be really difficult to qualify, i know you and lonewolf are good players, and the other 2 players i havent played before.
gunner did a really good league table in one tourney, so if i can find out how he did it i will let you know mate.

Is there any rules for the custom fielding, on side, off side maximinum? How many close catchers?
Feel custom fielding can be misused by people e.g. bowling 3 foot outside of stump with all fielders on the off side
Im sure all of us play fairly and freely when using C F

Pitch : Day 1
Weather : Clear

aus won the toss n chose to bowl
it was a real good decision as Lee and company took early wickets
england brought 2 lower order batsman as pinch hitters but all in vain
england reduced to staggering 7/4
Strauss n Cook built a bit of partnership but England were 89/8 in 10 overs
and then unexpected turn around Collingwood n Mascrehans had a partnership of 148 and the 9th wicket fell at the score of 225
mascerhans made 77
while collingwood played a captains knock of 68*
england finally made 234/9 in 20 overs

in reply Aus were down n out in the beginning n eng wrapped up there innings at an astonishing 17 runs or so

Congratulations on the first win seems like quite a cracker.. great comeback... if possible please post complete scores as in new table I would be posting total runs and wickets.

Result: England won by 217 runs

Sorry they must have got erased while I was updating table. Rules are still the same I have added them on again. Thank u for showing the error.

Thanks, I can see them now. I only noticed cos' PsyMax asked me the rules and I referred him to the thread. Hopefully we'll be setting up our game(s) soon.

got my second game of the tourney against akill85(WI)

Venue : Colombo(dunno y he chose that)

WI won he toss n chose to bat
WI got off to a flyer but were curbed a bit in the middle n last overs
Indies made 173/8 in 20 overs with Gayle making 95

Eng again had a bad start with 4 wickets fallin fairly quickly
but then Flintoff came to the rescue with a brilliant 65
supported agin by Collingwood and Mascrehans

Eng finally made 176/8 with 3 overs to spare

Group A Match 2 : NZ vs SAF in Cape Town

PsyMax (SAF) and I (NZ) just completed our first game. Scorecards below.
NZ 264/9 beat SAF 50 all out by 214 runs. MoM Kyle Mills for his pinch-hitting 55 and five-for.

Playing the game I again got the feeling that how your spinner does is probably going to decide most matches in this tourney. Psy bowled one fantastic over with the spinner, not going for much, but still the spinner's 4 overs went for 100+ runs.
