Playing the game I again got the feeling that how your spinner does is probably going to decide most matches in this tourney., but still the spinner's 4 overs went for 100+ runs.

That was the problem with the series gougie and I played, no matter how well we both bowled in 16 overs, it ultimatly came down to who can score more in the 4 overs of spin.

Sorry lonewolf logged me out again. The game was really set up well maybe with a very slight advantage on my side.
England 155 all out in 19 overs
India 47/2 in 7 overs

So we can play an unranked match tomorrow with no field restrictions with 109 runs required of 13 overs ?

well lilas i suggest we shud play match from start since i also got my set batsman bcoz of glitch n also playin from between takes away the fun also the match was evenly poised so plz start fresh hope u dont mind

Just a quick note: to avoid the glitch where the bowlers leg hits the stump, always bowl wide of the crease when coming over the wicket. The only time the stumps break is when you come close to the stumps from over the wicket.

Yeah good point mate, it eliminates one glitch in the game

Group A Match 3 : NZ vs PAK in Auckland

Kellerwwfc (Pak) & I (NZ) just completed our first game. I batted first.

I thought he bowled fantastically well; especially with Afridi and Gul as you can see from the scorecard. It was lagging unpredictably when Shoaib was bowling so I just basically played him out for close to nothing. He had me in trouble at 2 points in the game when I was batting - bogged down at 26/2 after 6, and when he got me from 98/3 to 98/5 in the 11th over.

Chasing, he was 22/5 when I think he basically gave up and let me bowl straight into the stumps not offering a shot. Keller - what happened buddy? I thought you could have consolidated, waited for the spinner and given it a shot.

In any case. Scores were NZ 220/8 and Pak 40 something all out (couldn't capture the final scorecard).

I assume this is based on the game we just had. Very surprised to hear you say this. We had a chat room open and you basically went from jovially commenting on the game when we were playing, to giving up mid way through your innings, and then posting this. Not sure what happened in between.

You did play fairly, and I especially liked the way you bowled with the spinners - lot to learn there.

Just some additional notes on my first game with Lonewolf. With me bowling Brett Lee had figures of 4 wickets for 3 runs in a masterful spell of quick bowling BUT the main thing was Krezzna my spinner ended with 4 wickets for 58. Which goes to show the spin can make a difference too. Other than that I batted dreadfully (again) but it was a great batting comeback by lonewolf with 8 wickets down in his innings. Good game mate.

keller can u give a bit more explanation about the fair game comment
i just wanted to know since most of people taking part here play fair i suppose

and yes efflindor one of the best games i have played although battin from your side that great hope u put it together in next game n we can have a cracker of game
i thought u bowled the best till now with spinner coz 58 against spinner is not very good
