I think the CLT20 schedule has been drawn also taking into account that India vs Australia starts on Oct 1 and having reserve days will take this tournament very close to the starting date of the first test, and they need to give the Indian players (like Dhoni, Dravid, Raina, etc) some breathing time before the test starts. After all, India runs the show and so the schedule is drawn up to give us advantage.

According to Cricinfo, It seems the groundstaff are saying that it takes 45 mins after the covers are off to resume game, and there is likely to be more rain within those 45 mins. Not looking good for Bangalore till now. It will be sad if they have to bow out without having a chance to fight for that final spot.

I guess Duckworth Lewis method can be implemented in such case. Its a fair method, approved by ICC.
