- Each team can confirm their releases and retentions for the upcoming season of the Indian One-Day Championship.
- Price tags from released players will be added back to their respective team's salary purse ahead of the Player Auction.
- Each team will take with them ₹100 crores into the Player Auction, with only the retention fees deducted from the purse.
Squads
- Each team can have a maximum of 22 players in their squad, with a maximum of 7 overseas signings allowed.
- Each team is required to have a minimum of 15 local players, but can have up to 22 local players in the squad.
- Teams with more than 22 players currently in their squad are required to release players from their squad.
Retirements
- Players who retired after May 26, 2024 are considered eligible to play in the championship.
- Players who retired before April 6, 2024 have been released from their respective team's squads.
- Players who retired after May 26 but last played FC/List A before the World Cup are also ineligible.
