Indian spinners follow the strategy of confinement. This is a Dhoni-esque method. Other teams have become smarter over time. There's no variety in our spin attack and playing them out is often the way to beat the supposed spin threat.

Australia have countered our spinners with relative ease here,just like they did in the CWC Final of 2023. India should have tried a few more tactics to get a couple more wickets. Australia should have been atleast 7 down by now. That said, hats off to Smith for the way he has weathered the storm so far. Either Smith/Carey lasting beyond Over #40, Australia will cross 330.
