Not too sad that India lost this tbh. In fact NZ winning this is more happiness for some reason. After that WC final heartbreak, this win will give NZ players plenty to smile!

This was genuinely riveting cricket. Congrats to New Zealand for winning the trophy, this side of theirs deserved a landmark victory and it shall be a beautiful parting gift for Roscoe and Watling.

Wish we get a three match test series in three different months with three different surfaces or else a championship held entirely in a host country next time. Could make this event even better.

One at Ahmedabad for sure if India is hosting, either ball, we'll wrap that up in 3 days.

Felt like we missed a 4th seamer in Siraj or even Shardul if we had to strengthen the batting. Clearly saw both Shami and Ishant were tired at the end of the innings that forced 50-60 extra runs in the first innings that decided the fate, also Rohit outperformed the expectations whereas the usual suspects like Pujara and Kohli failed being one of the key reasons of the batting failiure, also Rahane throwing it away in the first innings didn't help either. Bumrah was just awful throughout the game barring one or two overs.
