I try to be optimistic, and thought we had a shout on that last day at Edgbaston, but we're just screwed here. Broad at 7 is madness. He's a handy number 8, but should never be batting 7 in a Test match. He's effectively in as a batsman now, he certainly has proven in this series that he can't bowl. Time for Ravi Bopara, who's average has dropped by almost 12 points in this series to fail once more. Jeez I hope he proves my theory that he'll be class right.

Ravi Bopara will not score a hundred today. Almost zero chance of it. I agree with Warney that he should be at 5 or 6. Whack Prior down to 7, Trott at 3, Pietersen 4, Collingwood 5 and Bopara 6.

Siddle's bowling properly this morning at last. Nailed on that Johnson will have a stormer as well.

England have too many bowling options and concerns over Prior and an out of form Bopara. You can see why England fans may be pessimistic.
