4th Test: England v Australia at Leeds

Aussies all out....now we have to show some bottle, some nerve and for godsake, some patience!!!

6 Wickets for Broad? Who would've thought?

Massive lead, going to need a miracle to stand up to this total.

550 the aim at an absolute minimum. Even if we get there we're going to have to bowl brilliantly. 1-1. May as well just go to the Oval now.

England should swap Collingwood and Bopara for this innings.

It just doesn't seem right that everything should be dependant on a charasmatic figurehead. When are the others going to stand-up and be counted?

My God, Clarks going mental!

I agree - but we need him. He drags the rest of the team through: we are really going to miss him.

Now is the time when you need someone like Sehwag to go out and get a quick century opening the innings.

Shut up about Sehwag. England need to be composed and take their time, not slog. Sehwag would not make a hundred on this track, with this movement, with his technique, against these bowlers.

A good start is imperative. We lose a couple of quick wickets and we're out of the game. I cannot see Bopara and Bell standing upto the pressure particularly well.

I would ideally like to see us not take a run all tonight, and still have 10 wickets.

Yep, patience, patience, patience. Thats what undid us in the first innings. You have got to take your time and there is plenty of it. Settle in, who cares about runs at the moment?

It's not like they're going to run out of time here.

Just to bring lead down. the pressure of lead always plays on batsman minds.

Its not 102 all out pitch and neither was Jamaica. And this attack isn't anything special.

I agree, but it has pace, movement and swing, the 3 things that equate to a Sehwag fail. He would not come onto this track, against Siddle, Hilfenhaus, Clark and Johnson and smash a run a ball hundred. Patience is the key on this track, not slogging.

Right, I have done my duty for England now! 03:27 here at the moment. Time for some shut-eye and see how things have progressed in the morning. C'mon England!
