5th Match: Australia vs West Indies (Group A)

Ponting is in great form ever since his break, seems to be able to bat well on any pitch. Hopefully I didn't jinx him!

The West Indies aren't having much luck at the moment. A few balls have gone past the bat.

Wow Paine is playing real attacking here, hes tried that dance down the wicket a few times; finally got it off the middle.

This is really good to watch tbh. Fast quick bowling on a seaming deck, great stuff.

Great to see that Wilko`s back doing commentary today. The bad part is that he won`t be doing the studio analysis then.

Really like what I see from Roach. He's listed as fast-medium but he's been quicker than that. Been fairly consistently at over 90mph, with one free-hit delivery reading 148.5kmph.

Edit: Wow, they've just shown a table of the fastest bowlers in the competition. I'll run down the top 5 for people who missed it:

Kemar Roach 151.9
Lasith Malinga 150.0
Tino Best 147.7
Shane Bond 145.8
Dale Steyn 145.3

Pretty impressive numbers there! Roach is ridiculously quick. Can see Lee and Johnson getting themselves on there today though.

Nehra will beat them all. :sarcasm

Both these guys haven't let those demons from the pitch get to them which is what you need to do. Our run rate is good given these conditions.

Disappointing way for Paine to get out after all that hard work. Something had to give though as both batters were being beaten quite a bit.

The Windies have really pulled this back, they'll have to keep Australia under 220 to have a chance I feel.

One of those cases where you want to stay on the rope, that would have been Ponting caught out on the hook yet again.

Poor Kemar Roach. He should of had Ponting first ball there and now he's gone for 14 :facepalm

Hopefully we don't collapse like we did in the 7th ODI. This surface feels similar to that one, all players struggling but Ponting still able to score quickly
