5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

Has anybody else who lives in England noticed how as soon as the cricket starts the weather is absolute gash? This whole week has been pretty damn hot and as soon as the 1st day starts....bang ugly grim weather.

I'm going to go ahead and say this, and while it doesn't make any sense right now, it will later (although I hope it doesn't ever make any sense).

Those in attendance of this test match need to be alert and report any suspicious behavior immediately - security has already been increased for this test match, but you never know. If you have any friends going, please do let them know - there is a reason for the increased checking for the next 5 days (other than it being the last Ashes test).

I'll keep it simple - I know things.

I hope to see a cracking test match, nearly 2 months come downs to these 5 days. Unfortunately some people want to mess it up for the rest of us.

Weather looks excellent except for Saturday, but knowing English weather we should get atleast 60 overs that day.

How/why do you know these things? There's nothing about it on our news, well I certainly haven't seen anything of the sort anyway.

Really nice interview with Fred that. I love listening to him talk and can definitely see him moving into the Commentary box once he's retired. Just hoping he has it in him to put in 1 more Flintoff performance. He deserves it, win England the Ashes and he'll go down alongside Botham for sure.

Racist?

Wtf?

You were talking about "increasing security" due to suspicious behaviour, like a terrorist act is going to happen.

Terrorism=Osama Bin Laden.

Switch on a bit aye?
And you're calling me Osama as if I'm the one planning this? You know very well that most terrorist operations are being planned in Afghanistan / Pakistan, and seeing as I'm from there..

Let me put it this way, would you have said that if I was British? Probably not.

This originated in Pakistan, that is why.

Haha, gash! I didn't know you geezers used that word to describe something shite as well!

Was used frequently at a festival this past summer to describe Basement Jaxx whos perfomance was rather terrible.

Ever since they have been called Basement Gash.

We use it daily..

Just interesting.

Well your talking as if you were... I don't really care. I laughed at your post actually.

I don't know where Al Quida comes from, all I know is that its got to do with Afghanistan. I know nothing about Pakistan.

I would of said it if you were Pakistani, English or Japanese...

Haha, well people down south (London etc) don't really use it as much as them northerners ;)

Great, I'm going Sat & Mon.

Ah well, be a big way to go out

Yeah, I'm part of a terrorist plot and I'm going to tell you about it.

Somebody else needs to switch on it seems.

Well, I think you need to tell us about whatever you believe is going on, given there's no information about it on the net. Very worrying.

We're off the mark :D Hilfenhaus not started brilliantly, far too wide, not any notable swing. Can see Cook getting out for less than 20 though, and that'll open the floodgates.

You guys need a 50,000 seat stadium for the cricket. At the very least. It would pack out today.

Egh. I don't like the look of this England batting line-up at all.

What could be the greatest sporting event going on currently at this very moment?

That should give you a clear indication as to why this test.

As to who and why they do it, well haven't we been trying to answer that question for the last 8-9 years?

To get in you need a ticket scan, bag check, body scan and possibly a body search. How would a terrorist get in? Unless they are planning on blowing up the underground again.
