It should. I would be pissed off to see Tendulkar playing T20s.
But if I agree to your idea, I would increase the National Duty players so that a team cannot have all of international players in its squad even though it is an 'A' team.
And I would decrease the limit for matches to be played.

Well that obviously won't be allowed because a) He has retired from T20Is, and b) He is 37 yrs old.

Just take each case on its merits. Have the ground rules but then for certain cases make your own call.

But I agree that Steyn shouldn't be allowed to play for SA, so as Broad for Eng..................................... etc.

And by the fact I can't play Suresh Raina for tests.

^ No what i mean is talents are produced if we follow varun's rules otherwise majority of 1st team players will be playing in A championships . Right now only 2 -3 players from 1st team play in these matches

i might be a bit late but yes you should change the rules a bit. one way to see who should play and who shouldn't is to check out 'A' teams squads in real life and compare them to squads here. Few players like Steyn and maybe Amla should not be allowed to play for south africa in ODI's and Tests. As biggy said you have to make a judgement call on some of these players, even though managers might be a bit annoyed that they cant pick their star batsman/bowler.

'A' Championships Season II ended with a decent closing ceremony. Our 8 managers as well as our former managers Viral Shah, Brook Harris, Parth Kadakia, Sartaj McDaniel, Gorro Anvekar and Rabs were present.
