Afghanistan tour of Zimbabwe July-August 2014

So Afghanistan's tour of Zimbabwe ends in defeat. Vermeulen again in the runs and Mawoyo making a comeback, both of these two could potentially open against South Africa next week.

Good to see Vermeulen name popping up after all these years. Been out of touch with Zimbabwe cricket a while now but will certainly follow the Safrican series. Sad the days of Streak, Flowers are over. Cricket needs a strong Zim side.

Was anyone else really annoyed at how the first-class matches suddenly became not first-class half-way through the first one? Yamin Ahmadzai and Fareed Ahmed's bowling, and Najibullah Zadran's batting, in first-class conditions against a first-class team on a first-class ground in a first-class fixture just suddenly getting stripped from their first-class records didn't sit well with me

I read on ZCF that the match had 'regained' it's first class status.
