I must say i agree with some of your points Kev. I bought Cricket07 for the PS2 the other week for ?20 from GAME and IMO it's an ok game. The batting is ridiculous sometimes the way the shots never seem to find the gaps and you're reduced to playing leg glances/sweeps to every ball and how you can edge off an ideally timed shot. Also bowling is good but it's hard to get AI batsmen out without them making a mistake.

I downloaded the BLIC demo yesterday and i think it's also an average game but i enjoyed it, the main thing it has going for it is the online play, i should imagine that is very good and i can't wait until i get my Xbox360. Although the fielding was bad as the wicketkeeper kept dropping the ball when thrown to him but i did take my first catch with my first ever opportunity.

All in all i think both games have their good and bad points and i think BLIC just wins due to it's online play.

I've played a few games and never gotten an opponent's batsman out via an edge.
