Thank you but no room for him. Not at all. Impossible for him to break into an XI with the likes of Shaheen, Hassan, Faheem and Rauf.

#Bijli aka Shahid Younis is here to stay and keep Amir out!
What! under his bowling we never conceded 200 runs in T20 and he has a good record against India too.

Sure I will bring him into the squad. But there is no place left for him in the squad of 18.

So to have him in the squad, you will need to be dropped. Is that ok? ;)

Can't we remove run leaker Haris Rauf and add Amir instead?

I am in the team to warm the bench only. Either drop me or run leaker Haris Rauf

Yasir Shah shines with 13-fer as Pakistan crush Afghanistan in one-off Test

In hindsight, it almost seems obvious that, when Afghanistan faced Pakistan for the first time in a Test match, in Peshawar of all places, it would be a Pashtoon who would shine the brightest. It could well have been one of Afghanistan's young stars, like the globetrotting spin genius Rashid Khan, mistery tweaker Mujeeb ur Rehman, who is almost equally as popular on the T20 circuit, or perhaps a solid Test batsman like Rahmat Shah or Hashmatullah Shahidi. Instead, it was a Pashtoon from east of the Durand Line who made the historic fixture his own, with an impeccable display of legspin, which brought him 13 wickets in the match. It was, obviously, none other than Yasir Shah. If you asked an average Pakistani fan their list of best Pakistani cricketers, the relative dearth of Test matches on Pakistan's international calendar and an underwhelming record in unhelpful conditions mean that he would not often be among the first names you'd hear. Therefore it is very easy to forget how masterful a bowler is in the right conditions, a mastery that has made him the fastest bowler to 200 Test wickets, in terms of innings. While he almost singlehandedly bowled out Afghanistan twice, the batting effort by Pakistan was more evenly spread out, with two of the top four making half-centuries in either innings, and Maheer Aamir contributing with 55 and an unbeaten 43. Captain Asad Raza made an aggressive century in the third innings to underline his wonderful form yet again. For Afghanistan, the only positive was their opening partnership, which put up good platforms in both innings, but in both innings, Yasir Shah made sure that it only went downhill from there.
Pakistan will thus go into the Indian tour on a very positive note, dressing room turmoil permitting.

Pakistan coaching staff sacked in extraordinary move

Something had to give. It has been weeks since reports of serious rifts within the Pakistan team began to emerge, and they have gotten only more persistent as the Afghanistan tour went on. And in an unprecedented statement issued to the media, PCB chairman Ehsan Mani has shought to finally put the matter to rest. He announced that a PCB inquiry had found unprofessional conduct by the coaching staff and that the board, in a stunning move had relieved them of their duties, effective immediately. Further, the captain, vice-captain and other members of the team that have contributed to turmoil in the dressing room were fined, but were not disciplined more seriously. Mohammad Wasim, Mohammad Yousuf and Mohammad Akram were appointed as head coach, batting coach and bowling coach respectivel, while Rashid Latif replaced Wasim as chief selector. It remains yet to be seen whether the change will have any effect on the team's performance against India, but if the Afghanistan tour is to be seen as an indication, the players may yet switch off the noise when on the field, no doubt wanting to conquer a prize as important as a victory against India.
