Flembo would have their respect but I'm not sure he'd be prepared to really nail down on the team's wrongs. I was only a tiny tot when Rixon was coach but from what I hear he's a tough shell and I'd prefer him over Fleming unless Fleming can sort out our inability to win a test series.
After Martin Snedden, the former New Zealand Cricket chief executive, openly backed John Wright, I believe he's got an edge over other competitors for the post of the Coach of the NZ national team.
Rixon could well be what is needed to get NZ new batch of youngsters to the next level. Fleming would have been an awesome coach, too bad hes not interested.
