Getting back on topic, there are multiple uses of the facepalm smilie, and while it is often used in derision of other members, there are instances where it is also quite useful in expressing ones own failure, and not just that of others.

Personally, I don't like . It doesn't display the emotion as well as it should. Looks more like "I'm embarrassed" rather than "I'm sad".

You agree to not spam the forums with posts that have no value such as a succession of smilies, blank posts, etc. Posts should be well thought out, relevant to the subject matter and of good quality.

I see them quite often in the C07 and Graphics forum. Occasionally in the League forums as well. There isn't much point in them, and the page number is arbitrary depending on your settings. They just serve to spam those forums up even more. They are also removed from posts congratulating someone on a piece of work, or commenting on it because they don't contain anything of substance.

I don't think that the Issues Forum should be private. It should be something like just a read-only for the members who aren't a part of the Issues Group Membership. Keeping it completely private would mean that some guys would never apply for it, as they wouldn't know what's on.

Instead, if it is a read-only, we can constantly keep ourselves up-to-date with that forum, and if we are interested in a particular discussion, we will apply for it.

Why'd CaptainOz get banned?

Went back into a thread to see if he'd replied to something and he's gone.

lol he emailed me and said that he was banned for life for breaking one of the new rules.

Apparently he made a "useless" post in the Australia vs Sri lanka 2020 thread, and said he was banned because of it.

methinks there is more to the story
