I dont know if a mobile site exists or not, but I access the normal PC site, with the "www." prefix and not an "m." prefix.

Why not? You should start seeing the thanks button appear across the forums soon (it takes a bit of time for changes to filter through the forum).

I've found that I can't browse the drop down list short-cuts at the top :/

I'd hover over one and try to to click on one of the options available but the list just disappears.
