Exactly . Old school grit mixed with a few bits of superb batting and top notch bowling and catching, mixed with a few clangers in the field

loved it all. Sadly we may get a mornings play and then a rain delay

Yeah it felt weird going on social media and seeing a lot of people loving the action yesterday. It was decent but if we’re going to have Bazball action, I’d rather have it at a higher run-rate which is infinitely more entertaining.

Haven’t watched the game but I wonder if this is where England will miss Woody or a fit Stokes. They needed someone to break the partnership and their bowling attack is a bit of too much sameness if two batters get their eye in.

I’m also surprised that neither Mo nor Root managed to get a wicket with two lefties at the crease.
