Ashes-2023 England VS Australia 16 June-31 July

I don't think there's any doubt that England have had the best of the conditions all series. They just gave away a few wickets and dropped a few catches too many to convert their chances.

They've outplayed Australia at some key moments but they've been second best a bunch of times as well. Australia haven't had a great series as a team but they held the line when they needed to in the first couple of tests and it looks like that might be enough.

Got to love the English "Summer"
Rain has worked well for you guys v Australia in the past - Oval 2005 (won 2-1), Cardiff 2009 (won 2-1), OT 2013 (retained the Ashes - 37/3 chasing 332) SCG last time (Avoided whitewash)

I understand how you feel though :)

Sat at home in the rain watching rain on the TV. Its crap :laughter:

England will harp on about how the rain frustrated their Ashes bla bla bla.......but at crucial moments they aint been good enough/ streetwise enough. They should have never been in this situation and the truly frustrating thing is they didn't have to be

Yeah only ourselves to blame for this predicament

Most washed out days at a single venue:
  • Sydney: 25
  • Manchester: 24
Rooting for Manchester!
