Ashes-2023 England VS Australia 16 June-31 July

You'd really need ball tracking (looking at averages, speeds at certain lengths) to assess properly. While it's safe to assume players like Wagner and Wood are more likely to bowl short it doesn't mean that every player does.

Although, Anrich Nortje joins the party it becomes more compelling.

Sorry, what is it you're using to obtain that data?

Stop with the stats and address the elephant in the room and that is England bowling is shite! How did they let this happen and how are Australia ahead now. This is a great comeback from Australia.

You could switch both teams, apply it to previous games and not miss a beat.

Tail wagged yeah it’s not the best but it’s not really that massive and these things happen. It’s a lead of 12. There are 3 days left in this test, it’s really not the end of the world

A lead of 12 is better for Australia compared to trailing by 80 when they were 5 down.

Their tail scored some quick runs and stuck around a bit , our tail has done that also, they take it on they get lucky some times, some times they get out quickly. It’s just part of the game

I've been a Woakes fan since he first got picked and I'd have guessed his record in England was good and that he should be a first choice pick.

I would not have guessed he was averaging 22 with a strike rate of 43. Those are serious numbers.

I knew he was ahead of Jimmy and Broad and pretty much anyone still alive. If you lower to 50 wickets taken, Robinson is averaging about 20.
