They were the better side at Lord’s whilst playing under worse conditions and were equals if not marginally better at Edgbaston. They’ve royally pissed away their advantage due to shoddy captaincy but they deserved to go 2-0 up in the first place, let’s not rewrite history because England have finally kicked on.
