Australia need this field except about 30 metres deeper

He's going to go for his drives and he'll probably nick off for between 10 and 40 odd a lot but every once in a while he'll hang around and hijinks will ensue.

Mitch Marsh averages 50 with the bat and 23 with the ball against England

From the first ball at Edgbaston Australia has seemed more concerned with what he might do (get on top of the bowling on a flat pitch) as opposed to what he will do (play as many false shots as a tailender).

The thing is, Crawley's secret weapon is his flick off the pads. He's really good at it. Productive and safe and a potential boundary scoring shot as well.

Really important not to bowl there at him.

This is genuine leather hunt.

Time to drop Crawley surely?

England are still 100 behind, tho. Couple of good balls, couple of bad shots and Aussie could finish up with a lead.
Nah they're not....

England definitely learned a thing or two from India's last test. Now they are even playing like India one would say! :grinning:

Right now, coming up on level scores, is the ideal BazBall platform. An hour or two of bonkers scoring from here and the Aussies are stuffed.

It's the first time in the series it's come up though because they've lost wickets too regularly in previous tests. At this point it's all gravy with wickets in the bank.
