My wishlist for the next game can probably be summed up in two words: Spit and Polish.
Transmission - your objective in this game was core gameplay. Well done, it looks very much as though you were by and large succesful (there are a few fairly major things that need sorting however).
In the next game, you just need to refine what is already there. Work more on the edges and bounce and of course, the AI running (if you don't patch them in this game - if not, we'll be on your case. And you really don't want P.C. members on your case, we can be soooo annoying!!)
More polish, guys! When those stumps get hit at 90mph, let's see 'em shatter! Let's see 'em cartwheeling out of the ground!
Please improve the camera angles (if they're not improved via patch, or are already sorted in the main game). They give the 'TV presentation' an amateurish look and we don't want that.
Lots more variations on celebration cutscenes (if they're not in the full game). A celebration for taking a wicket when a side is already 650 up is very different to one that clinches the Ashes!
Dynamic light/weather changes. As the day progresses, let the light change with it, as clouds roll in, it would get darker. Games like Oblivion carry this off to great effect. Oh, and rain/bad light need to be in the game!!
Don't know if this is in the full game of AC09, but let us put our photo in the game, like PES 09 does for the Create feature?
More to come, after I've played the full game.
Once again though, well done. As you said, this is the first game of the series that I'm sure will become known, unofficially, as Pro Evolution Cricket!! So, we won't mind some rough edges here and there. In the second game though, we want to see refinement and polish.
