Then you'll have read the very clear response I made at the time.

I think it showed that quoting it and condemning it publicly showed we were taking it very seriously rather than just deleting it.
I strongly object to the insinuation that we ignored the post reports and just let it go.

That's a fair point and I should have been clearer. i was just referring to the post(s) not being deleted. I have seen so many less worse posts (heck even pages of discussion altogether) being deleted which were either being off-topic or getting personal. Matt did mention that a lot of people had already quoted the post but I thought it was reasonable to expect the entire discussion to be deleted as it was not only offending but also off-topic.

Yea and I thought dealing with it would include deleting the posts as well.

it's astonishing to think they don't have anything, a single screen shot, feature, or something to reveal today. we can argue the semantics of "early september", members' impatience/sense of entitlement till the cows come home, but Mike Fegan surely isn't an idiot and knows how his previous comments will have been interpreted and the expectation they will have fed of hearing/seeing something relatively meaningful this week. given previous experience with the title in this case i definitely don't take a "no news is good news" approach.

i would say there has to be a better than even chance of this game never seeing the light of day. which is very sad when you consider the consequences that will likely have (and i mean on trickstar employees, not delaying DBC!!).
