Do you mean if you can download it before? I don't think so i think day one patch starts when you play the game for the first time.

The day one patch is available now on both Xbox One and PS4 - it's highly recommended to download it prior to running the game.

If you get an initial boot screen that asks you which control options you want to use, you have the day one patch.

I thought you had to wait till you get the game before downloading? Unless i misread the post!

It's only in reference to those either pre-loading on Xbox One, or those who have bought retail copies early. You can't download the patch without having first bought the game, either on disc or digital.
