I didn’t even get selected in @Langeveldt beta team haha!

Anyway, there’s some very good work going on. Proper tweaks trying to get that proper cricket simulation. It’s exciting going forward as well

We have taken a lot of criticism. Go back and read. To say it was never targeted at us is way off the mark. Yeah most of the stuff was aimed elsewhere but to say no one has criticised us, is not true

I would say that's more of an exception rather than the rule. Majority, if not all, of the folks know that beta testers are not employees of Big Ant and have no control over the patches, the game and the overall roadmap of the game. You can only help Big Ant with your inputs, insights and recommendations but the final say is up to Big Ant, which should be the case.

I don't think anyone has criticised beta testers. Most of the criticism I've seen was targeted towards Big Ant for releasing the game in its current form and lack of support & communication.

My criticism was around the negative support.

The release gameplay was good. (Ok stats and ai fields still needed being better.)

That 3rd "patch" was when BA lost me. As an exercise is cynicism it was breathtaking. A month of nothing then a patch that did nothing just so they could argue "we back our games"...

However, I am delighted to read the recent updates from the beta guys.

Commentary may well be in the pipeline (not sure where you got the info) but it has not been brought to light this time. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

Hey buddy, great job with your information. I am probably one of the few quiet ones here who reads everything and is patient enough to understand the other side as well. Just have few questions for you

1) Are the faces (we talked about last time) going to be fixed for non licensed players?
2) Will online game play be touched in the new patch)?
3) Will any commentary bugs improve?

1) Not sure this will be looked at this time. What I understand it's a ps 4 pro issue.
2) @Dutch and I played some online the other night and it seems better. We have a list we will be going through and giving feedback very soon.
3) I doubt it.

Edit: all of these are purely speculation by the way. I certainly could be wrong

Ok lads little update on batting AI...

First 15 Overs only went for 32.

Warner bowled off his elbow.
Bancroft didn’t know what day of the week it was before feathering a back foot punch through to the keeper.

Bancroft conservative on mine Dutch..

Khawaja came in, also conservative. Didn’t go aerial at all. Didn’t look like he wanted to. Ironically got out trying to hit Ali over the top ball span past bat and got stumped.

Now Smith (Precise) just ticked along. He hit the only two lofted shots of the morning session.

Handscombe I set to brute as a test.Came in plays his shots launchedanything bad but still wasn’t completely reckless.

Shots all around the ground. Started to hit gaps and take ones and twos. But only once the batsmen grew in confidence. Early on they struggled and it was boundary only for a bit.

Last ball of over going for 4 is kinda there sometimes but maidens are plentiful.

Loads and loads of plays and misses.

Few edges, not as many as before, but this was on a hard dry pristine.

Very very encouraging!!

Hey Wealey, do try shorter formats as well as part of testing & gameplay tuning. Want to make sure that shorter formats are balanced and feel right along with Tests.

We are, long story short. Test AI shouldn’t effect limited overs. So once we nailed it. Then tweak limited, if it changed test Apparantly it’s easier to identify .

It was always present since DBC 14, but is particularly rampant in Ashes.

AI chase in shorter format has been a concern. And the way they play bouncers and yorkers. Any news on the Prod Shot?
