Cricket must be tough to develop a convincing game for and also to test. For instance, in real life sometimes teams really don't chase well...sometimes they blast it without breaking a sweat. There's an ebb and flow within matches and across series and, indeed, over years. I hope that we can still see some degree of this in Ashes where it doesn't seem like you're always playing the same match and the AI will perform the same game in and game out. I don't mind individual games or even series sometimes being very one-sided (a la recent Ashes series), as long as, overall, there are more closely fought games and there's that chance to turn around a loosing streak by playing well and riding your luck or having your winning streak busted by a team playing out of their skins. Almost comes down to having an overall team confidence level that varies based on context. However, not easy to code or test, I would imagine.As one example ai chasing.
