Ashes Cricket General Discussion

So anyone with OCD like me will appreciate the significance of the next screenshot........ ;)

It's like one of those spot the difference puzzles...is the difference here that the last ball of the over is marked rather than just showing the balls prior to last? I would be very happy if they've fixed that...not a game-changer but always puzzled me why the last ball didn't show up.

A 10 wicket victory in legend, hardest batting, hard bowling... I see.. Sounds little strange.. And he is playing his first match in the new build..?What's your thought @Mohammed Sherry..

I'm no expert, but since you asked.
I feel no matter what pitch condition, at higher difficulty the AI should play a lot better. The low scores could probably have something to do with request for more edges. Again I could be wrong and it might just be a one off game.

No one has requested more edges...

It’s more to do with the pitches playing more true to life more than anything and the fact we have got rid of the last ball smash etc.

So does this mean AI can still make 450+ on good wickets?

As I said, I could be wrong. The pitch selected was Crumbly but was seaming around:rolleyes. Maybe I'm just being too critical. Hope the result is worth all you guy's hard work and everyone's patience.

Don't know what's up, but this guy is telling a different story..means you bowl good enough and they gonna keep tumbling.. Well we have to wait aand see.. Still is way to go.

I wonder if it's the AI tweaking that is leading to the delay.
What do you mean by that?

Crumbly should be spinner friendly.
Legend difficulty, Hard bowling, New batting timing, Australia (probably the highest rated AI team) and scores of 71 and 130 odd does not seem right.

I understand cricket is a complicated sport and it's very difficult to get things right. However, don't understand the point of holding on to the patch till everything is fixed. The game isnt broken by any stretch of imagination. Would have liked a patch which just fixed the bugs (2 months back). Anyways that's just my opinion.

Again , what's the top priority of the beta testers?

Match scores or perfect gameplay?

The way vetran beta testers pounced upon @funnyadit when he posted a really excited post was the clue.

I mean what was there about to be jealous?

By creating a small group of beta testers with there own priority list , big ant has gone on a real difficult path.

AI cant and never will be , better than a human player in a cricket game, put ur energy into correcting basic cricket statregy that will be more useful.

The priority mate, is the massive spreadsheet of issues that’s been identified and spoken about across all areas of the game.

Feck me this place does my feckin head in....

Priority one is to ignore shit like this.
Priority two is to do something useful like actually test the game and not draw conclusions from one post.
Priority three, see one.
