Can someone explain this

Playing against AI team bowled a nice inswinger that hit the pad which then bounced behind the batsman and onto the stumps dislodging the bail. I didnt realise it had gone to hit the stump so i appealed for lbw which the ump gave out. Batsman reviews and for some unknown reason the decision gets overturned when there was no bat involved

Ok if wasnt lbw what the heck happened to bowled??????

yh thats not right,should definitely be given out.i had an incident where i bowled a short bowl which hut the batsmen in the rib area, bounced down and just took the bail off and it was given out so i guess in your case the cpu got confused as to whether it was lbw or bowled

the way i initally attack in an innings is to put majority of fielders on offside and bowl to the field accordingly.i often find with a bit of patience and keeping a good line and length(full on hard pitch,good on soft)the batsmen will occasionally get a bit frustrated and attempt a drive that is stopped in the field via a divng stop by which time the batsmen has attempted a run leaving him stranded if its a direct hit

Struggling to defend Yorkers in test cricket. Do I need to block earlier or later than I would for full or good deliveries...?

Earlier for fuller delivers. The ball obviously doesn't lose any pace off the pitch so yorkers reach you quick.

I actually have the opposite problem where I get out nicking short balls all the time because I don't wait long enough haha.

guys be thankful cos im possibly the worst batsmen to ever arrive at the crease.really struggle to find a good camera setting when im batting and struggle to pick the line/length.would really appreciate some tips.bowling wise im much better now but my batting needs much work.cheers

Good for you. Btw I had few in the inner circle, bowled, lbw, a runout and an unsuccessful AI review. All in a single competition.
My major concern right now would be the Unrealistic Simulated scores and lack of AI match awareness while they are chasing. AI has lost every T20 match Chasing. Hardest bowling, legend difficulty.

I played a game the other night where I took 1 catch in the slips and every other wicket was bowled.
I am struggling bowling a team out in an ODI if I bat first. If I don’t make at least 330, I’m not winning. I don’t sum anything so I’m not sure how that goes.[DOUBLEPOST=1530452023][/DOUBLEPOST]

hi does anyone have a good field setting when using spin bowlers in test matches?im doing ok bowling spin but still going for too mnay runs.any thoughts would be much appreciated

Just was playing a star player career as Glenn Maxwell, captaining Victoria. We scored 7/332 in 50 Overs and Ai (WA) chased it 6 down in 41 Overs. D'Arcy Short scored 125 off 68, everyone was slogging it for them except Ashton Turner scoring 13 off 35 and Tye with 12 off 20 Not Out and most of the players in their team don't even have aggressive batting mentalities.

And in my next game we scored 286 and Ai (QLD) chased it 2 down in 31 Overs. Renshaw got 127 off 73 and Khawaja 89 off 56.

The year is 2021 and Mitchell Starc is playing for Victoria, he was our top scorer in the game against Queensland with 75 Not Out at 9th.

The Ai either slog it or just block it and do nothing in limited Overs games.

I love this game but the ai run rate in limited Overs games is shocking, bowlers opening the batting, bowlers doing too well regularly with the bat and a few bugs within the game are the only disappointments I have with this game.

Good Example of what I'm talking about, the unrealistic scores of Al and their match awarness. The game is still enjoyable though, especially in long form games because they play more realisticly.

Not when you get james anderson playing like a top order batsman wacking fours at will
