Ashes Cricket General Discussion

Not when you get james anderson playing like a top order batsman wacking fours at will
I'm still of the opinion the 50 over game is broken, others have a different opinion... T20 seems just fine so this is where I play.

Same here, I think it's just the Men's One-dayers that are broken. Even Women's One-day matches seem fine.

I was hoping to start ODIs after the issues I am facing on T20s. Would you mind explaining the issues on ODIs?

This was in a test . He ended with 32 no from 34 balls. Didnt look like getting out.
Haha, how about 75 off 51 from Mitchell Starc at 9th in a One-Day Match!

Thought they fixed the issue with tail enders/bowlers doing so well with the bat. Even with poor batting skills the bowlers still bat well.

The main issues are the Al 's match awarness and the ridiculous run rate. One over they might get about 20 runs off of it and the next they only get a couple of runs. It's either slog or do nothing with the Al in One-Day Matches.

I find though that if you simulate bowling then the Al's run rate isn't as ridiculous or the score isn't as high.

This is my opinion though and other people might see it differently, so each to their own.

Played a T20 on casual match mode and the AI first innings batting was perfect. The 18th 19th over issue happened when I had tried Tour Mode.
Pace bowling speed and shot force was set to 70, match was simply brilliant. Got a feel of an actual T20 match.

The 18th 19th over issue happened when I had tried Tour Mode . how could be perfect T20 ?

The perfect T20 was during the casual match mode not the tour mode. Tour mode had the issue, but wasn't present in casual mode.

I think there are different issues in the different game modes. Like I was talking about the ridiculous run rate of the Al in Limited Overs games and their match awarness the other day, I have only experienced it in career mode! Not really any other mode to be honest.

In career mode, I have noticed the issue with simulated scores. Especially when AI is chasing.

ok so ive been chopping and changing between manual fielding and letting cpu but was wondering what you all think is the best way forward.yes overall its easier(lazy!)to let cpu do it despite the odd overthrow and blatantly letting the ball go past the fielder but is it more effective than manual?thoughts would be much appreciated

Sorry I disagree! Manual fielding works well. It'll be very tough to master but a medium manual fielding is the best choice. Semi auto option can be checked but personally, i feel semi auto is poor and full automatic is terrible!! Even on hardest difficulty!
