Anyone from the beta team. Ability to play the short balls on the front foot and aswell yorkers on backfoot. If this can be done then both footwork can be used in the game. Is this fixed in the current build?

That almost makes zero sense. You can play forward to a short ball and vice versa.

Hey guys I just wanted to add my 2 cents comments about the ranting and insults going around here.

I have learnt that the best way to keep away from conflict is obviously avoiding it. If anyone feels like they are being cyber-bullied or insulted, calm down , take a deep breath in and start a 20 over ashes tournament.

One can never win arguing with a fool. To argue with a fool makes you a fool as well. Don't stoop to that level.

Let's stop being crybabies. We are all grown men here (who still love playing video games like kids )

I loved the last bit

Coming to the topic, I would like beta testers to throw some light on running between wickets. I felt picking 2 runs is quite easy even when the ball goes straight to the fielder in the deep, we jus have to push sprint button and run. It has no or little effect on stamina levels which in turn has no or little effect in batting.
But in RL, if one keeps sprinting for a long time their stamina get a considerable hit, which in turn have some effect in the batting.

Just want to know has there been any discussion in this part.

@Gaming Bittu , Yeah I tend to agree with short balls being played off the front foot for horizontal bat shots, and full balls being able to be played with a vertical bat. I don't know why the game is so punishing towards not complying with those perimeters.. I mean I understand it sort of for cricket "video game", but not from a cricket perspective.

How is the AI batting in ODI? Will I still get my customary five wickets in a powerplay?

Has seam movement been looked at - specifically thinking the fact that I could use the magic cutters to obliterate teams at will.

Are wicketkeepers still taking catches at short leg due to their super reactions?

Decent stats mate! The dream for any cricket stats nerd is to have a cricinfo profile, very jealous!

@LittleBigPlanet definitely ignorance, I misinterpreted what he said. I do remember thanks to @funnyadit that it didn't really matter what the ball was you could play both front and back to it and it wouldn't be an issue in DBC 14. But I've found that even going back to a bouncer on a soft pitch in Ashes Cricket has ended up with my stumps all over the place and vice versa trying to drive a bouncer I would completely miss it.
