Surely that just becomes boring? I’m presuming that was pre patch?

Seeing you struggle and battle in my opinion is far more entertaining...

As bowling is really good in the current patch, can anyone help me on bowling?
I am using classic controls and i m making sure that input circles are green but still batsman are smashing me all over in limited overs.
Am i doing something wrong?

Keep a consistent line and length and throw in one mixer per over, that’s what I’ve done pre and post patch. Yes I had more runs than previous but I think that’s because the AI are more intelligent. I throw a bouncer maybe once every 5 overs but if it causes a problem I put one straight after got me a wicket anyway.

Yeah the bowlings much better now. I remember the old days when I would bowl tons of wides and had much less control over where I wanted to pitch it.

I think the brian lara cricket bowling system (or even international cricket 2010) could still be a better bowling system if big ant can obviously tweak it up and add their own adjustments to it.

For those of you who don't know, bowling line, length and placement of the ball was all determined by a little circle that was moved using the left analogue stick.

Bowlers with better stats had more control over the circle and more time available to place it where u wanted it. Poor stats also meant a bigger circle allowing lesser direct control of where the ball finally pitches.

It was a more direct approach and less mechanical in terms of simply choosing your delivery type. It also allowed the bowler to keep his eye more on the pitch and batsmen rather than simply looking at the side screen and pressing buttons. Also gave us alot more variety, you could bowl the ball anywhere u wanted.

You don't need to look at the side you can follow the batsman to the crease and aim where you want to go and watch the arm for the delivery......

Yeah, it was just a little rage after getting smashed in an IPL game haha. It will make for better batting. Just have to keep at it

I'd started skipping through the batting sections of your career mode videos because they had become quite dull imo.

Perhaps turn the batting difficulty right down in your IPL series until you get used to the new timings, so that you can still compete in the games. Meanwhile hit the nets!

What are you having trouble with? I'd say just bowl like you would in real-life, tight lines with some variation in flight/delivery types. If it's limited overs you are probably going to get tonked a bit regardless.

Backfoot dab to third man and prod shot to point and third man are not travelling. The ball just drops dead even after perfect timing. I have reported it in bugs thread. I am sure it will be looked into.

Steven Smith Have Problem With His Power Backfoot Shot , They Are actually not so Powerfull and non timely due to which he get out in ODI and T20s .

Is there anyway of leaving a team in career mode once you join, is it possible to receive offers from teams in a league you're already playing in or not?

My first hundred playing at hardest level. Had to work very hard for it. Only 6 boundaries. Loving the game after patch. Just a few bugs (batsmen not dragging bat and slow in reacting, too much bat and pad while playing flick shot, leg side wides not catchable, bowler throws very slow during runout chances etc) but I think all have been listed in bugs section. Great job Big Ant.
