Dhawan is a solid player in ODI's. There is really no question about his spot in ODI's. Just for his form in ICC tournaments, he will be a sureshot starter in India's first game of the World Cup next year. Let's not confuse his test form with his white ball form.

I'm not someone who'd go by stats but his ODI stats are solid. Rayudu did well too.

We keep setting up 'platforms' to launch in almost every game and then the launch never comes. We just implode to a below par score. And God forbid, if the platform fails then we are doomed to an even worse showing

We need to revamp our odi middle and lower middle order
