Good win this for India and need to consistently play this way in upcoming matches. Bangladesh and Afghanistan cannot be taken lightly here in UAE conditions so all remaining three matches should be really interesting.

My Pakistani cricket fans what do you see in Sarfaraz? Have not seen him contribute with the bat for long now.. what is the opinion you all share?

Yep after Shoaib Malik there isn't anyone there to relay on so if our top 4 batsman fail then it's pretty much going to be a low score, we need a good all rounder in the middle order someone like Abdul Razzaq because I think we got too many bowlers in this team.
I think India got Hardik Pandya who is pretty useful batsman to have in the middle order, also he can bowl as well.

However, I hope we do not see a repeat of CT where we were too good in the group stages only to falter when it mattered the most. In all probability, India would meet Pakistan in final and if that happens, I wonder if Amir would get his mojo back and perform when the stakes are the highest.

Pakistan missed Hafez who is all rounder but I count on his economical bowling just like Jadoo.Pakistan and Indian batting about same strength but I do not think Pandya any better all rounder than A.Razzaq

I think Pakistani bowlers not able to swing ball in two consecutive matches really something New.Usman gets 3 in 6 ball vs inexperienced HK middle order mostly off reverse but he looks ordinary vs India.Indian seamer took 5 but littel success for pak bowler.

Sarfu say after HK game, we will do something so our strike bowler plus Swing the ball but sorry to say, no luck Pakistan.
I wants to see how Pakistan wants to win Asia cup with one specialist spinner -- Shadab.

158 now replaced by 162? Both these Teams are so inconsistent. One day they will behave as champs and the next they will behave as teams who do not belong in international arena. One good thing about Rohit Sharma is his captaincy. He is a better captain compared to Kohli.

I strongly belived India did good vs Pakistan because vs HK was India's Practice match, so India well tune up now.I wish we plays number of practice games in Australia in between all 4 test

Barring Axar Patel, none of the other squad members are anywhere close to being an all-rounder. And expecting Jadhav to perform like he did today consistently will be putting too much pressure on him.

Only option I can see it, swap out Axar for Pandya and Khaleel for Chahal. If only some of our top/middle order could offer 5-7 overs as a bowler

Deepak Chahar received phone call from BCCI to join indian team in Dubai when Pandya gets hurts.Chahar handy with bats too better batsman than bumrah/chahal and Kuldeep

He is making in Good All-rounder, superb bowler economically, I liked him more than Krisha and S Kaul.

Recently BCCI pick 5 bowlers ( including Krishna) to participate 3 day net practice programm in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This is such an excellent read into what he expects from his players and what went wrong. The division of roles and how/why the players deviated from their assigned roles. Very sensible stuff.

Ravindra Jadeja has replaced Axar Patel for the remainder of the Asia Cup. Deepak Chahar replaces Pandya and Siddarth Kaul comes in for Shardul Thakur (who weirdly seems to have got a hip problem). Good that Jadeja is back in the ODI side. Now this would be the ideal time for him to be given a spot in the XI. With his fielding and his tight bowling in spin friendly conditions of UAE, he should play most of the remaining 3 games for me. India can afford to drop one of Chahal or Kuldeep and accomodate Jadeja in. Anways we have Jadhav as a reliable 3rd spinner. 4 spinners will be overkill IMO. My XI is this:

As well as Rayudu has batted so far, I would bring in Rahul for Rayudu because Rayudu seems a little slow. Rayudu and Karthik are almost equal to me in terms of batting. I would give Karthik the chance due to better agility on the field and also his cheeky batting skills when the situation is tough and the need to score very quick runs exists.

Was just about the share my thoughts on Jadeja's inclusion as well. I hope he gets picked as Pandya's replacement and performs big time. Always liked Jadeja and I think when in form he can offer a lot of balance to the lineup.

I would love it if we played the above team, but I don't see how we can accommodate Rahul in place of Rayudu if we cannot swap Rahul in place of DK. Rayudu clicked in both the games as well. I wish we would play Rahul, but I don't think this will happen

Between Chahal and Kuldeep, I would definitely go for Kuldeep.
