I wonder what the reactions would be like then. Mr.Gavaskar will go bonkers if we crash out- could be really funny to hear him trash them. Also feel, the effigy burning days might make a comeback for the first time since 2003.Perhaps,even a coach slapping incident at the airport /team hotel ...

I still don't understand why the new PCB hasn't pressed for all Pak matches( barring those versus India) + the Final to be held in Pakistan (assuming India dont make it)

I'm not very good at debating the "why", but I would love to see a legal showdown between BCCI and PCB which changes the hierarchy in any way

Not sure that's probably going to happen. The BCCI plays a safe game by putting it across to the govt. Anyhow, in this case, the ball was certainly in PCB's court and my personal opinion is that they shouldn't have agreed to all demands. Asia Cup without India (would have a massive financial impact) but someone should have stood up and taken that stance.

why the hell are pakistan matches not in pakistan they are all in Sri Lanka expect vs Nepal(in multan) and 1 qualifier game at least have one foreign super 4 match in and all pakistan game in pakistan why the hell we have given the rights for if its all in Sri Lanka ?? if all of a sudden they can host why did they not host last year ACC DISBAND

Yeah, that's what beats me. If you're hosting the tournament,the leats you could do is to have all Pak games(bar India) in Pakistan. As for the hybrid model, the easier alternative would have been to host India games in UAE or India itself, to avoid the others from getting jealous.

Insane how normal everyone thinks it is for BCCI to bully Pakistan out of hosting a tournament they had the right to.

And PCB caving in has only given India ground to stand on to do the same for the Champions Trophy.

I do not think true cricket fans think its normal. Only hyper nationalist would think that. I for one thought only Indian matches would be in Sri Lanka and rest of the matches would be in Pakistan. Guess even Sri Lanka and Afghanistan did not agree to it perhaps? There is something definitely off about the schedule. 4 matches in Pakistan whereas 9 matches including the finals in Sri Lanka. Should have been other way round. I really hope 2025 Champions Trophy stays completely in Pakistan.
