Practice Match 3
Canberra Thunder vs Sydney Sixers
@TSPrathik @Parth D
Toss: Sydney won and chose to bat
Note: I ran a few more simulations after yesterday's game and discovered that batsmen on normal pitches SUCK. This game is on a bat friendly pitch to see if that fixes the issue.
Sam Heazlett certainly made use of the more batter-friendly conditionson his way to 95. After he went, most struggled. The pacers' economy rates were higher, but the spinners did their jobs - Fawad bowled ten cheap overs and N Radhakrishnan took four wickets on debut, including Heazlett.
What a day for N Radhakrishnan! 40 from 46 meant he was the best of Canberra's batsmen. Unfortunately, that fact indicated the top order let everyone down, leading to a comfortable Sydney win. Matt Kelly was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets.

NOTICE TO ALL TEAMS FOLLOWING JCP MATCH 3
You may have noticed that in the three one-day practice matches that bat has DOMINATED ball - only two batsmen (Josh Inglis and Heazlett) have put together innings of any quality. Well, I went into the ratings for a few teams afterward and discovered why.
Basically, not adjusting the bowler's averages has led to a frankly ridiculous situation where, for Canberra if Joel Paris and Ben Dwarshuis were playing as well as Tye, it would be expected that those three bowlers alone would bowl out an opposition team. That clearly isn't right. In order to counteract this, I'll be nerfing most bowlers slightly in the game (more unrealistic ones such as Paris may get slightly larger downgrades). The effect should be more balance between bat and ball.
Sorry about the unexpected changes here.
