Manee and Bazza have played brilliantly and have got New Zealand near the 200 mark. Manee is on 48* but Bazza has just gone for 9. LBW bowled Warne.

Matt West puts his head in his hands, as a number 11 can play his shot better than he can. 200 up for the Kiwis. :happy

New Zealand have recovered! They have set a target of 235 for the Commonwealth Bank ODI team. The Spin and Manee with a brilliant partnership of 37 off 32 balls.

A maiden ODI fifty for Manee. A brilliant performance from the number 8, when his country needed it most.

Can the Commonwealth Bank ODI team do it? Or will Matt West's incredible captaincy stop them?

After the 10 over mark, Australia are 36-0 with both Hussey and Hayden on 18. New Zealand really need to take wickets to stand a chance in this game. Matt West is 1st change...

come no perhaps i can make up for the duck with a bag of wickets

Bad news for New Zealand as they can't make a breakthrough. Australia are 90-0 and Michael Hussey has just made his fifty.

Michael Hussey is taking the attack to the New Zealand bowling.

The crowd is cheering tremendously and the batsman are looking uneasy as Simon Barrow is next to bowl...

Simon Barrow and The Spin have been hit all over the park. And New Zealand have taken their first wicket! Thanks to the part time medium pace of Treva Teague!
He was absolutely delighted. But, I doubt that it's enough. Australia are 218-1 after 46 overs.

A disgraceful performance from New Zealand is put to an end as Australia hit the winning runs. 234 was clearly not very good on this pitch.

Manee and Matty Roberts did play well. But also, Ross Mathers bowled economically as did Teague, who got the team's first and only wicket. Dan Mackie did quite well with bat and ball too.

And you yourself, skipper played brilliantly for your duck and 5.4 economy. :p

Current VB Series standings.
pl W L T NR Pts NetRR
Australia 2 2 0 0 0 4 +0.5
New Zealand 1 0 1 0 0 -0.2
England 1 0 1 0 0 -0.36

So all the pressure is on the next game.

I think it's time for a shuffle, and time to let that 'Talented FM bowler' to get a game...:p
