I thought that you were a left arm spinner, Simon. I need a spinner. I can't just have an all seam attack! :p

NEW ZEALAND REVEAL A FEW SQUAD MEMBERS

The New Zealand coach has announced delightedly that a few squad members have been signed up.
"Today we have signed up 10 players. All of them are highly talented and will bring a lot to the New Zealand team."
It has been revealed that the players are:

Manee B - A Left Arm Fast Medium bowler
R.Suren - A Bowling all rounder with plenty of variation
Matt West - Originally from Devon, an All Rounder with lots of promise
Willie L- The new Wicketkeeper. Very handy with the bat
Treva Teague- An opening batsman who bowls occasional Off Break.
Rudi Cruss- Another opening batsman looking to prove himself.
Zorax Doom- A talented Fast Medium bowler.
Matt Roberts- A very good leader. A left hander.
Simon Barrow- A key player. The leading spinner who is looking to take on the likes of Warne and Murali.
Dougie Sloan- A very good pinch-hitting all rounder.

"Altogether this team look very good. It is not quite complete yet as we need more sign-ups. But as you can see from the factfile, it is a team that look to be the best."
When asked of his team's chances of winning the VB series and defeating Australia he said: " Well, we are inexperienced and playing Australia and England will be a big stepping stone for us. We are looking to get some wins under our belt in time for the World Cup next March."

Overall the New Zealand team look excited about the Australia trip. Despite them being underdogs, this looks to be one series to remember.
