Good to see Dizzy getting wickets but they have been a bit lucky
I believe you make your own luck - even if the first two were luckyish, reading the commentary on cric buzz it looks like hes bowling brilliantly, deserving that luck (if that makes sence :p)

does any one know the last time two South Australia bowlers played at the same time?

I dont know if Tim May and Dizzy played in the same test

Lehman and Dizzy, hes kind of an batsman/allrounder though I guess.

I don't understand really why Lee is playing. Its not that he is bowling bad. But his comment about not having any fuel in the tank. I guess if they wanted to play 3 spinners they needed a dependable and experiances bowler, so I can understand. Tait getting injured seems to be a bit of a pain The Aussies wanna keep that real quick bowler in.

DIzzy out of the attack already. I presume its to save him for later on. He was bowling soo well.

Or it could be Punter's s**t captaincy apppearing again...

When someone is fired up with 3 wickets from 5 overs and is beating the edge, I don't understand why they would be removed from the attack.

Well Warne got a wicket! GREAT!!!!!

Still, Dizzy should be bowling at the other end.

The Bangla's in big trouble, Ashraful caught a slip by Hayden off Warne. 41/4

Brilliant captaincy from Ponting to bring on Warne :p

Seriously, if you have 5 bowlers, you may as well keep them rotating, even if it is only to bring Gillespie back in a few overs' time.

this aussie lineup is an insult to Martyn and Clark, Bangladesh and The Baggy Green hat. We have two damn fine spinners in Warne and Magill, so Cullen does not need to play, as he is NOT required. Damien Martyn should be playing before Clarke, simply because he pretty much won a test match for Australia two tests ago. Stuart Clarkplayed a brilliant Debut series in SA, and yes, was poor in the First test in Bangladesh, but honestly does not deserve to not play. Jaques wasn't required, Hussey could have opened, then Clarke and artyn could have both played. this is simply a 'rotated' team. how dissapointing.

note: i haven't heard about any injuries so im assuming there are none.

Clarke is believed to be a bit of a one trick pony, in that if the wicket is not seaming about he will struggle.

Regarding Hussey, since has been one of Australias key players in that middle order, they perhaps felt that he will stabilise any potential collapses coming in later, he can also bat with the tail, and if he's coming in after around 90 overs could feasibly be facing the new ball, something he can do anyway.

And regarding Cullen, this is the last test in a long time that he may get to play for experience sakes, so why not utilise it?

Afterall Australia are highly likely to win this test by an innings. The first test was a bit of a blip that will I am sure be rectified in this test.

To be fair to the selectors Martyn has failed against the Bangla's both times and only played one good innings out of the whole South Africa tour. This is the perfect oppurtunity for Jaques to play as Australia can't loose.

well i'm going to be totally unaustralian and Hopes Jaques fails so as to improve Katich's chances for a recall =P

Clarke was pretty pathetic against the Banglas aswell Cricket_60, so i don;t see how it's fair to have Martyn dropped and Clarke playing. in the 2nd innings, Martyn was beaten by a jaffa, clarke was just stupid.

True, Knowing our selectors they probably played a game of scissors paper rock to decided who played

Martyn should definatly be playing over Clarke in my opinion. Maybe Clarke's small bowling ability saved him. Who knows?

lol, i will assume it's coz yoiu think Katich is so great and you wish he was in your team... right?? :p

Commentators said Martyn has some kind of small injury complaint, so they have decide to not risk him.
Dont know what injury been flicking between the AFL an cricket.

Since they have gone with 5 bowlers again they probably decided to keep Lee in for his batting not his bowling.

Maybe we will get to see Johnson play for Australia once in our lifetime?

Got no problems with Katich being in our test team hes fairly consistent and will grind out a decent score most innings.
Just should never be in a ODI team.
