At least this second test match is not proving to be "battle of minnows".

Ozoz batters batting well in this match, and their bowlers bowled relatively well in this match too.Ozoz still need to improve alot if they want to compete with the top test teams.

do you even know what cricket is? that is most ridicuous coment i haveEVER read on PC.

Only one team comes close to threatening them and they are in a downward sprial.

I know they are still at top, but they way they have been playing test cricket lately, there is a chance of going down too.I expect England and India to compete for top slot in a year time.

At the bottom of the message you left ur signature, i believe its not required.

Yep we need to send our team to the mrf if we ever want to compete with the top teams

Umpires will go back out on the field in 1 hour to inspect it so no play for atleast another 80 minutes.

When England and India can win away from home against decent opposition they might have a chance of making it to number 1.

Aus still have about 2 more years up top.
Although we wont be winning as easily or as often anymore which is great for cricket.

oh yeah, and and England and INdia are just SOOO good. you must be the most uneducated person on PC

let me just point something out... England Just lost to pakistan, who, as you have said in other forums, and apparantly "useless"

and then they drew with india. the only team close to challenging us now is Pakistan. how many test matched have australia lost since the Ashes? NONE.

How many matches did Australia played after Ashes? not many.

They came very close to a loss at the hands of Bangals.

England lost to Pak on dodgy wkts, had it been played on sporting pitches England would have easily won it 2-0.

Aus are not as good a team as it use to be, i expect them to lose to England again on their own home backyard.

The team to really challenge Aus is England and India, England at test format, while India at both formats of the game.

Never said MRF will make ur team world beater, just that it will help the so called pacers to turn into something really worth mentioning.

:laugh :laugh ozoz? Does that mean Aussie's???

Which top test teams? We are the top. At first it looked like England would be a better test team but they just got beaten by Pakistan and India. Australia just beat South Africa IN South Africa 3-0. How many other of these top test teams have done that or beaten Australia at home?

So called pacers? So Brett Lee, Glen McGrath, Jason Gillespie and Stuart Clark are not any good  You really need to learn more about cricket before you make stupid statments.

England's pacemen didn't need MRF. All you need is a good bowling coach, Aus didn't even have one for the Ashes. Cooley is coming back to help our bowling stock so our young bowlers will benefit.

India and ENgland can't do a THING outtside of their respective countries. the only reason they challanged us last time they were here is because wed been hurt thru terrible injures and i think warne was banned at that stage. england, have played uselessly except for one test against you lot in the ashes. you truly are making a fool of yourself with these ridiculous coments. your team loses a test and collapses to shaun Udal, and you think you are going to be better then us in a year?? honestly mate, stop embarrasing yourself and just stop typing.

Sorry it should be just "OZ" .

Engalnd never got beaten by India, it was a draw.
And yes England lost to Pak on dodgy surfaces, wasn't a fair contest.

England will beat Aus in Aus in comming Ashes, just wait and see.

India is improving fast, last time it was 1-1 draw in Aus, this time under Greg India would surely do better.

In that case then they should be fine as Cooley is a great coach

You are being an arrogant fool to seriously dismiss English team like that.England have champion bowlers in Jones,Harmison,Hoggard,Flintoff and Anderson. To think that such a team can't do anything outside its country is insult to intelligenge.

And i can assure you, both India and England can easily beat Bangladesh in Bangladesh and won't make heavy whether out of it.

On second thought, most team won't.

lol dont worry about the oz thing :)

England where outplayed easily by India even if it didn't show in the results.

A good team should know how to play well on all surfaces

Australia lost the Ashes by 2 runs. That's not taking any credit away from England though, they had a great tour but it is still only 2 runs.

When was the last time and English team won the ashes in Australia?

Stay on topic please.
This isn't about India or England, it's Australia in Bangladesh.
Take your agruement to the superthread or the chat room.

Funny how you say that Eng were outplayed by India, when i being an India admit honestly that it was a drawn series and that India were LUCKY to have played against an injury hit team.

Aus defeated India in India after numerous FAILED ATTEMPTS.

If Eng won by 2 runs, Aus won a test against Bang by just 3 wkts.

Enagland didn't win Ashes in Aus till now as they had a poor team till now, but now things has changed and the present team is capable enough to defend the Ashes.
